- From US$932.52 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 110 reviewsAlthough the AirSwift plane was 1 hour late arriving at 4:30 pm, the transfer was still taken care of by Ruel. It felt like a James Bond movie: from the plane into the van driving onto the jetty directly to the speed boat that took us to the island in only 20 min … just in time before night fall, which is when the coast guard wouldn’t allow any boat ride anymore. The full board catering was fantastic, both in terms of Filipino and Western food. The waiters and cooks were fabulous living up to the wonderful Filipino philosophy of bayanihan … doing everything to make you happy, not because they’re staff, but because one genuinely feels that they are happy if the guest is happy. There was not one angry soul in this place!! As a lover of Filipino food, I didn’t need to request the food I like … they read it in my eyes (pinakbet, kamote cue etc). The following stood out in particular: Vergel, Ricky, Chai, Jess, Alfonso, Fhee, John, Vern. As to the complimentary activities: We were overwhelmed with what was already included in the package. Two guides stood out: Reylan and Marlon bent over backwards for me to get the best snorkeling experience and gently took care of my Asawa, Edna, who - thanks to them - is no longer afraid of the water and the ocean. In summary: job well done from the cleaners to the waiters/cooks to the tour guides to the receptionists (Kath & Kath and Jess) and lastly the wonderful manager Francis.Guest review byWolfgangAustralia
- From US$205.03 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,049 reviewsIt was an exceptional stay. From the first minute (we arrived 2 hours before official check-in) the staff was amazing. Helpful and accommodating. It's the amazing staff and the little things that made our stay exceptional. Like changing daily free drinks in the mini bar or the help I received when I lost my way and ended up in the staff room. The rooftop terrace, the whirlpools there and the friendly bar lady made it one of the most beautiful places to watch the sunset. All our extra requests were met (pick-up, laundry,...) and they even placed a pre-birthday decoration in the room after we mentioned our reason to celebrate at the check-in. Would go back in a heartbeat.Guest review byLisa MariaAustria

The room was perfect, new, cleaned on the daily basis, not to mention how comfortable the bed and the sheets were! Also the people working there made our stay ever more pleasant. We enjoyed being in contact with them, they were always ready to help and were not even a little intruding. Food - breakfast and dinner buffet: 10/10! We enjoyed our stay so much, we decided to extend our stay there for another two days. Thank you!Guest review byGorazdAustria

I really enjoyed town, but nacpan and duli area also nice places to stay! Lio is another nice spot to stay. Town is good if you like going out to eat, and see a lot of things But staying in lio, nacpan or duli is also nice if you want a more peaceful, quiet time. even sibaltan would be nice (check out the manta rays if you dive)Guest review byAnonymousPhilippines - 10

The calamian group of islands of which Coron is part of, is beautiful. And I hope all the measures to keep it pristine and unlittered will be successful always. There are many breathtaking sights. You would need a sizable budget though to be able to enjoy the boat tours which are wonderful. If you have the time, visit Culion. It is historical (a UNESCO site), and while the places to see could do a little tidying up, nevertheless, the history of that place invites reflection and inspires--many heroic people lived on that island. Kudos to the religious who have kept the place going since it was first established. The Culion museum should be your first stop.Guest review byGuiaPhilippines - 8.0

We didnt spend a lot of time in the Puerto itself sadly, given our resort was 90 minutes away but we made a couple of day trips and Puerto seems more relaxed & laid back than most cities in the Philippines with plenty of activities.Guest review byJulianQatar - 10
Absolutely!
Absolutely! San Vicente really flies under the radar compared to El Nido and Coron, but that’s part of its charm. It’s less crowded, more laid-back, and still boasts those stunning, unspoiled beaches—especially the 14-kilometer Long Beach, which feels like a hidden gem. The slower pace and warm, genuine hospitality from the locals really give it that authentic "island life" vibe. It’s perfect for people looking to relax, connect with nature, and avoid the more tourist-heavy scenes. Some even say it’s what El Nido felt like 10 or 15 years ago.Guest review bycesznadz39Philippines - 10
If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit,...
If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit, put this one on your list. It's relatively uncrowded, the people are very pleasant and the vistas are jaw dropping. If you are a diver, and have an interest in WWII, you will find an incredible 11 Japanese wrecks to dive. I'd recommend Pirate Divers, they are very professional and very conservative when it comes to evaluating risks. They also know the wrecks like their second home. Coron is a bustling town with good food and pleasant people, but the beauty of the island is the back country. I liked it enough in December that I'm returning in February. To get around, I'd suggest renting a scooter. If you are new to powered two wheel vehicles stay out of Coron, and pay attention to the roads, there are some surprisingly tight turns. Otherwise, since it is relatively uncrowded you should be fine.Guest review byJimUnited States - 10

Every day I walked from the hotel to Sabang wharf on the beach and on one day had coffee, adobo and itlog in a small cafe there. Everyone was very friendly, and I bought some Pasalubong, when they did not have my tee shirt size, they went to another shop to get it for me and to get change when I gave them 1000 peso note. I asked directions to the falls, but no one was exactly sure where it was or how long it would take to get there. The place was secure (police station at the wharf and coastguard and army regularly on patrol in the area. I eventually found the park that a friend recommended (5 km from the hotel) and had an excellent buffet lunch there twice and again they made Chester very welcome, the park was free and had some interesting, recycled artworks and a tribute to the devastation in the area by Typhoon Odette- well worth a visit. Also visit Buenavista viewpoint- the local community run it and you can get Buko juice, coffee, snacks and Pasalubong plus take great photos of the bayGuest review byNeil in BahrainPhilippines - 10

A delightful quiet backwater and so far less developed town. The beaches were beautiful and mostly clean. The town has plenty of activities to offer and places to eat. The whole place is walkable but you may want a Tuktuk or moped to visit further beaches.Guest review byAnnie EUnited Kingdom - 10

El Nido has so many fun things to do, and we liked that while there were a plentitude of tourist options, we were not separated from local culture and activities that sometimes happens in other places. We were only there for four days, and we could have stayed another week. The beaches are beyond stunning, both the ones you can walk to and the ones that need a boat. The snorkeling was fantastic, the food options endless, and the vibe was chill and fun.Guest review byMaryUnited States - 10

Rooms are spacious, big selection if breakfast, friendly hotel staff. Infinity pool is okay, could have a bit deeper though. The other pool is undergoing refurbishment. Island hoping are a must to do. We ate in the town where they served fresh sea food.I think its called Island boy Grill. Outside the hotel the tricycle ride are ideal to get round Coron town proper for merely 30 pesos.Guest review byAlma - 4.0

Worst public ride rates, not regulated, mostly a rip-off. The streets are unsafe with so many potholes, no street cleaners to keep the dust away. I appreciate the vehicles stopping when a person crosses the street.Guest review byAnonymous
