But Natura Vista was a wonderful surprise! This hidden gem offers a peaceful respite near a tranquil beach - it's free from commercial distractions and bustling bars, yet allowed us to witness the most magnificent sunsets. The cottage feels like a tree-house with veranda and hammocks, cozy, made of wood and grass roof, bathroom and toilet separated from each other with toiletries inside, complete with comfortable mattresses, linens, and towels. The staff members are exceptionally friendly, always ready to lend a helping hand with genuine smiles. Their delicious homemade meals, served with care, is unforgettable. We loved that delicious cold drinks served upon arrival and enjoyed experiencing both Natura Vista and its neighboring sister resort where we got free access, and had a Blue Moon cold beer and enjoyed the big pool. The Natura Vista pool is also nice, smaller than Blue Moon but really cozy and magical, with bubbling whirpool at the center. There are lots of breakfast choices and it's available until 11am!!! As a thoughtful gesture, we were even given a souvenir upon departure. It truly was a delightful bonding retreat for our group of friends. This seems to be a Booking problem so please be advised that the main pool is an active construction site until at least February 2024. It seems other platforms correctly reflect this information while Booking did not. The staff was extremely accommodating and understood our surprise and problems with having a front view to the construction. They were able to find a different room for us which satisfied our needs and provided extra perks to make up for the fact that it was a room category downgrade. From this point on our stay was great. The breakfast selection was quite good and we liked the sikwate a lot. We also took advantage of the complimentary snorkeling masks and kaiak to explore the coral reefs which were right off the shore. The variety of marine life present here was quite stunning. All in all, despite the initial awkwardness, we ended up having a very relaxing time here and would gladly come back to see how the pool looks when the construction is finished.Guest review byAngelaRomania

Bohol is an incredibly beautiful destination, and I would love to come back and explore more of what it has to offer. It's not just the stunning beaches — the hills, mountains, and natural scenery are equally breathtaking. Unfortunately, our stay was quite short, and the inclement weather limited our plans even more. We didn’t get to fully experience everything, but what we saw left a lasting impression. Really recommend Bohol Farm!
Really recommend Bohol Farm! Their ice cream is incredible, and the food is great too. We got a tour of the farm, which was super nice. Getting around is quite easy, there are three main road that go around the island, and there are tuktuks for hire everywhere. I rented a moped, which actually felt quite safe, as there were few big cars. Alona beach is definitely worth a visit. It's less crowded place compared to other popular islands in the Philippines, that makes it more relaxing. Snorkling at napaling Reef was amazing. It's a must do. The mountainside tour is also recommended. ATV ride in the mud was the most enjoyable. We had a tour from panglao to oslob. It's almost 9 hours tour but mostly traveling. It's tiring and I would say it's not worth the 30mins swim with the whale shark. Panglao is very popular for diving. A lot of people come here to learn/ to do scuba dive. You can get enough of the non-oceanic tourist attractions in 2 days. The snorkeling is why I love it. You need to go to a Marine Sanctuary for the good snorkeling, although a few resorts have decent house reefs. DON'T go on one of the snorkeling/island hopping tours which are promoted at many places, especially by hawkers at Alona Beach. None of the boat motors have mufflers. They will leave you at a substandard restaurant on Balicasag Island for an outrageous length of time. Tag along on a dive boat, which you can arrange at most dive shops.Guest review byWes
