Lovely hostess, fabulous location high up so we enjoyed the sunset. Apartment was very clean & well equipped, large, comfortable bed. Wifi very strong. Nice luxury whilst walking 12 days of the Fisherman's trail. Almograve is a beautiful town close to an amazing beach. The town itself was smaller than the surrounding towns with less amenities , like restaurants to choose from, but we were only there for one night so it was fine. Sines is a great starting spot to explore both the super-long pretty much unbroken beach to the north that goes all the way to Troia, and the small pictoresque "cove" beaches to the south of Sines. The town is a bit rugged, and definitely not a fancy place, but so much more authentic for it. An amazing place i went there at least 2x a year, and I love the envoirment. At this time I went at Feira de Melides time, and it was a super traditional trip. This is a small town, where there is not much to do in the town itself. We stopped there because it is part of our Vicentina Walk trip. We enjoyed the nature and the woods around the town while hiking up to the hills. It was worth mentioned that the little cafe at the entrance of the local market hall serves good breakfast and sandwiches. I like their service and outdoor area too! This charming seaside village offers an ideal spot to relax and recharge. Although it can get quite crowded in July and August, its peaceful atmosphere makes it perfect for a getaway.
