What a beautiful place! We thoroughly enjoyed every moment in this amazing cabin. It was such a peaceful place to rest, away form the busyness of normal life. If you take the train to the Valea Drăganului or Poieni train/bus stop, you can walk to the village center in a few kilometers. Very positive and would highly recommend this as a convenient location for the airport..6 mins drive away. The host and hostess were both very helpful -before we arrived with communicating details of how to enter even though we arrived late, and in offering a ride to the airport next morning. Great location with lake views. Amazing potential for the area. No easy access to the take, many private villas, some quite opulent and not fitting the area style / not build using the traditional style, are blocking lake access in most places, many private roads, big dogs roaming around. No hiking or biking trails, no kayaking service. A crumbling resort from the 90s waiting for a buyer... A wonderful nature with a lot of wasted potential, typical post-Communist Romania situation.
