    The service and hospitality were 5 star. The property is beautiful. The location was good for walking. Fresh fruit and delicious coffee were the highlights of breakfast, served on the terrace next to the river. There was a large selection at the buffet as well as a menu for orders. The concierge was helpful and arranged airport transportation with ease, as well as several outings/tours. All were great. I think this is the best place to stay in Chiang Mai.

    It’s much nicer than it looks in the photos! Very fancy place. Beautiful gardens, multiple pools, mountain views. Two restaurants, one for breakfast, one for dinner. The room was exceptional with a large tub, comfortable bed, shower, and of course the views! They even drive you to your room in a golf cart. Hotel taxi is available and grab also works in the area.

    I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lhong Chiang Dao Glamping in Chiang Mai, and I can confidently say it was one of the most incredible hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the host and staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable. Every request we made was met with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, which made our stay even more special. The glamping site itself is immaculately maintained, with cleanliness being a top priority. Surrounded by the soothing sounds of a nearby waterfall 24/7, it truly felt like we were immersed in nature. It’s the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle of everyday life and reconnect with the serene beauty of the outdoors. One of the most magical moments was at night—around 11 PM onwards, the sky came alive with countless stars, offering an awe-inspiring view you rarely get to experience in the city. If you’re looking for a solid glamping experience with unparalleled hospitality, breathtaking natural surroundings, and starry skies, Lhong Chiang Dao Glamping is the place to go.     Lovely place for spending a relaxed weekend.

    Lovely place for spending a relaxed weekend. Watch the sunrise over teh valley, stare into the clear skies and the stars at night. Visit the tribal villages, the fruit orchards (strawberries and oranges) and the flower gardens. Enjoy a tranquil time.

    Chom Tong is a small town about 1.5 hour from Chiang Mai.

    Chom Tong is a small town about 1.5 hour from Chiang Mai. Travellers use it as the base to explore Doi Inthanon. There is a decent choice of F&B establishments, supermarket, cinema, etc. Best explored if you have transport (rental car or taxi service which can be booked by the day)

    The property is far from anything and the road is quite hard...

    The property is far from anything and the road is quite hard to get up especially at night as there are no street lights. The view is easily the main attraction though as well as the bathtub. Food was the Moo Kata which was 490 which was about right for 2 people. Breakfast was okay.

    Mae Chaem is an amazing little village with great air...

    Mae Chaem is an amazing little village with great air quality, which is a rare thing in Thailand. With lots of greenery and nature trails, you'll never get bored in this place. Food is also cheap and tasty. The people are nice and always smiling. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a nature retreat.

    This is a place where you can look up cool cafes and eatery places, get a motorbike ride for 20 baht and experience something new everyday. The elephant tours are exceptional, the night market in old town is fun, the different temples, hostels, the river cafes and places to hang out, the train to lampang, the events that go on all the time...its a fun, and friendly city and you want to be sure to have Kao Soi the best meal ever. Enjoy your time oh and Raming Tea is lovely when your hot from walking too much...they have a special air con room, and all the drinks they make and food is very very good.

    Welcoming little town well worth visiting. The temple and the caves are great but the best thing for me was that I stumbled into a bar up near the cave which is called . . The Cave bar. This place has to be visited if at all possible. Wonderful hostess and a really chilled, funky vibe.

    The cool & freezing weather.

    The cool & freezing weather. Must stay here for atleast one night if you have a trip to Chiang Mai. Experience the beautiful flower farm and walking distance. You will appreciate the morning fresh air & cool cloudy fog if you dont mind walking to the flower farm nearby within 15min walk . For Muslim, even though it is only one restaurant that offer halal food , but the taste was worth the price. Will repeat next time if i travel to Chiang Mai.
