In all my years in Thailand this is the absolute best hotel I can recommend. This is a true 5 star hotel. The staff is outstanding and the service is exceptional. The breakfast is perfect with everything you could need, and so is the service. Unfortunately only stayed one night this time but will be back soon.

The staff is so nice , very polite and very easy to understand what you want .. the room are very comfortable , we took the one in front of the sea with a double swimming pool , I never saw that it’s very luxury , the jaccuzi is so big with a a incredible sun set in end of the day , the sun get totally orange and yellow , the special romantic dinner recommended , very testy

We are a young family of 4, there was plenty for our young kids to do, splash park was fabulous and the food at the pool bar (Mi Scusi) is decent. It was also nice to spend days at the other pool or beach. The gym is well equipped. The kids club offers many activities as well as playing with the toys, soft play and the arcades upstairs. You can sign your kids in and leave your mobile and if your child needs you they will whats app or call you. One of us stayed nearby most of the time. The service and standards at Avani + are outstanding, the staff and friendly and will go out of their way to help you. The rooms are clean and spacious, the bedding and beds are very comfortable, the shampoo, conditioner and body wash smell divine AND are good quality, especially after a day at the beach and pool, they wash and condition the hair very well. There is some great variety with the restaurants - elements, mi scusi, the beach house and also the burger van. The kids menu is great for those kids who like something a little more simple. The staff at reception are very helpful if you wish to go on excursions through them or just hire a driver on your own. Very impressed with our stay, would come again.

It was outside of the city roughly 15 min with taxi so very quiet place and few people at the beach. The workers there were always very helpful f.exs. had an issue with my ac one they when I told them they immediately ordered a technician and 1 hour after I told them he had already been there and fixed it. Really beautiful setting. The beach is gorgeous. The room was really beautiful- we stayed in the swimming pool access room which was great and had access to the pool bar 😎 The staff were really great and very attentive. The breakfast was delicious and lots of variety. The lunch and dinners were also very nice. We had massages which were very good and I had a facial which left my skin silky smooth 😄

What a lovely find. The beach front location on Khao Lak Beach was superb 👌 The beach was quiet, and the sunsets were fabulous. The hotel is split into two sections on either side of a very quiet road, so check where your room is before you book. Both sides have their own pool but you can use either. The breakfast buffet was really good and the staff were so helpful

Beautiful hotel with nice and well kept surroundings. Very friendly and helpful staff and good service. Great breakfast with good selection of both international/western and Asian chioices. Nice pool area with plenty of sun loungers. Nice and spacious (Oriental) villa. Walking distance to many restaurants, shops and services.

I recommend this hotel, especially the room with its own entrance to the pool. Everything is clean, the grounds are well maintained and the staff are very friendly. Breakfasts to suit all tastes, always local fruit. The coffee is very good. This is our fourth time coming here and we are very happy with our stay.

A calm and quiet place that also has many places to walk. It is recommended to rent a car for a while because everything is relatively far from each other. Lots of good restaurants and also a really great market for shopping and food.

If you want late nights, loud music and a party life, don’t go to Kho Lak. If you want rest and relaxation, great food and no crowds this is the place. Pick your time of year and the town seems deserted.

Not as busy as Phuket, less people but lots of restaurants with reasonable prices. Very family orientated, no night clubs & pole dancing girly bars. Khao Lak is what Phuket was 30 years ago but is becoming more popular.
