The rooms were nice with a small balcony. The shower is quite basic but functional. We arrived early after a night bus and were very tired, and they offered us an ealy check in with no extra charge, which was a blessing.

Lovely boutique hotel with natural charm. Slightly off the main road so was surprisingly quiet which was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was very tidy. Good location to local eats and just a 15 minute walk for us to our dive centre in town. The staff were also very helpful with great suggestions for food, taxi and massage services. Lovely cafe and food as well! Would definitely stay again!

This was our first visit to Koh Tao and the location of the Montra Resort was perfect. It was right on the beach and close to the main area where a lot of shops and restaurants are, so it was easy to walk to most places when needed. The pool is great and with lots of loungers, it was the perfect place to relax for the day. The rooms very big and spacious and lots of cupboard space and a huge comfortable bed. The staff were amazing and the resort offers free transfers from and to the main pier where the ferry's are. The day we left they even sent extra staff to help carry our bags to the check in at the pier, amazing service. The resort has a resident diving school that can arrange all your diving needs, we used their services for a full day snorkeling trip around the island. This was in a "long tail" boat that was dedicated to us for the day and they took us to all the best sites to snorkel at, it was the highlight of our holiday.

We had a wonderful stay at Dusit Buncha Resort! The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating to all our needs — truly going above and beyond. The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. We loved the location — it’s a bit more secluded, which made it feel calm and private, yet still just a few minutes from the town center. Everything was top notch — from the rooms to the service. Also want to give a special mention to Dr. Andrew, whose OMT & PT treatments were a huge help for a back injury — highly recommended! Would definitely come back and stay here again.

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff. Specifically Tan on reception, extremely helpful and great customer service. We arrived late due to the ferry being delayed and the staff waited for us and welcomed us with a drink and flannel. Personally I think this hotel deserves more than 2 stars! We stayed in the Superior King Room, the bed was extremely comfy and the room offered everything we needed. Lovely seats outside too with a view of the pool. Very bright and in a great location. The restaurant at the bottom of the hotel path was also extremely good, would highly recommend this.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. The staff is incredibly friendly, the privacy of the rooms was perfect, the food was great, the water and snorkeling incredible!!! We chose this spot because of the privacy and the location and were so happy with all of the extras that came with our stay like the kyaks. Such an amazing stay. We have recommended this for our friends who are honeymooning next year. This would be the perfect place to honeymoon!

The villa was an oasis! With stunning views, great accommodations and amazing staff it is beyond measure and a must stay. The villa was clean and felt like a home away from home. The villa came stocked with all we could need during our stay. A quick walk down and we were snorkelling in Shark Bay watching sea turtles.

Fantastic location.

Fantastic location. I wish they could do little more on the breakfast . The room is ok. I don't like when you have to take shoe off when you go in the lounge or the restaurant. The lounge need to updated. Staff resting on rhe sofa too which is weird.

Koh Tao is still one of the few raw escapes in Thailand in...

Koh Tao is still one of the few raw escapes in Thailand in my opinion, its divers and back packers heaven. However as a father with 2 kids in my forties i absolutely loved it. If you step away from the busy areas and off the beaten track you can find amazing coves and hiden gems still. The tourism all over the world has killed so much of our wildlife and reefs. The locals are definitely trying to do all they can to save it. Brilliant food, amazing views and a fun island.
