It’s not a luxurious place, it is an older construction and you can notice the need for some upgrades and upkeeps here and there BUT that doesn’t mean it wasn’t perfect or worth it, it was cozy and we felt so much at home. The pools were extremely clean, not a single dry leave or bug in it, sweet and beautiful cats were roaming around the property and the staff were helpful and kind. Location was the best for us, everything was close by. We had a great time!

    We actually stayed 4 nights - checked in a day early, on 12/12. It was our second stay at Phi Phi Bayview, so we were familiar with the accommodations. We were pleased to have the same fabulous views of the water, comfortable beds, spacious room and deck to relax on while enjoying the quiet and the views. We'd also like to add that the staff is amazing. On our last day my husband left his wallet in the safe. One of the staff found it and rushed it out via long boat to the ferry just minutes before we were taking off. We are so grateful. Thank you. We hope to come back again!

    Hotel was away from the Bar Noise so a good night's sleep was had. The pool is excellent. The staff met us at the ferry dock and accompanied us to the resort. We had a super early boat tour but the staff prepared a phenomenal boxed breakfast for us when we returned. We were concerned about Monkeys but we never saw one. We were concerned about it being a long walk to the main town but it was very walkable in about 10 to 15 minutes. We didn't do the party scene but that would be doable as well if desired.

    My brother and I loved our stay here including the friendly and attentive staff, the bungalows surrounded by a lovely tropical garden, and the incredible snorkeling opportunities a brief swim from the pristine beach. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of western and Asian food that set us up for the day. We stayed for 6 nights and were sad to go as it was such a great experience. Long beach is about a 20 minute walk away from the town of Phi Phi and all its offerings.

    The resort itself is beautiful and well landscaped. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The resort itself is rather hilly, but they provide a car service to take you to your room if you don't fancy the ascent. The beach and pool are the perfect place to chill out and enjoy island life.

    Stay away from the main town part if you want some quiet.

    Stay away from the main town part if you want some quiet. It's over commercialized, and touristy. The resorts are overpriced for their services and amenities. However we loved Long Beach. It was a beautiful beach. If you like tea, I recommend you bring it from home. It's very hard to find good black tea in Thailand. And when you do, there are limited choices and It's very pricey.

    When I stepped off the ferry, I was in absolutely awe, and immediately fell in love. It's a beautiful, small island, still packed with bars, restaurants and shops. I only stayed one night and I think 2 nights would have been enough. I did the phi phi viewpoint hike, which was killer, especially in the heat. It did get crowded for sunset, so grab your pictures before the crowd arrives. You can walk everywhere, no transport on the island as not needed. I ate at the pirate bar/restaurant, great beach view seating. I also ate at a little cafe near my accommodation, but can't remember the name......
