The city is a bizarre mix of upscale and trashy neighborhoods. Great access to highways but traffic was terrible. Avoid the Target downtown at all costs— takes 20 minutes just to get in and out as parking is an absolute nightmare. It feels like a leftover town from NYC. People use it hard, it is transient, tuns like a big city without the infrastructure, and was generally not a pleasant stay. Loud streets at night, mostly from drunks yelling and extremely loud cars/bikes. The hotels are lovely the Town Center is great, the business district is posh, but the city overall is overpriced and underwhelming.Guest review byNicholasUnited States - 10.0
New Haven is a great place to visit.
New Haven is a great place to visit. Known for great pizzas (Pepe, Sally, Modern, Ernie’s) great schools, nice restaurants from Sandra Next Generation , Kool Breeze, Archie Moore, Brazi) just to name a few! great atmosphere, different cultures, Peabody museum for families, Schubert, long wharf theatre, Yale theatres and museum, nice and friendly! Easy access to 91 and 95 highway.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0
I really liked the pool-warm water and large pool.
I really liked the pool-warm water and large pool. Large walk-in shower. The breakfast was mediocre-dry scrambled eggs and toaster not set in right position to toast bread. Ruby Tuesday was a convenient restaurant that you could walk too-great menu choices.Guest review byWendyUnited States - 10.0
Hotel is clean and the staff friendly and helpful.
Hotel is clean and the staff friendly and helpful. We liked having two queen beds that were separated by a small kitchen island. Loved the window seat. Beds were comfortable. Pillows were too hard and high for us. Location was great for our visit to the Sound and Casino.Guest review byMariaUnited States - 8.0

Milford is very picturesque, with historical sites and miles of beachfront on Long Island Sound. Autumn offers a beautiful display of colorful foliage. The very large tree lined green in the center of Milford is often the site of concerts and craftshows. Thousands of lights decorating the gazebo and many trees on the green at Christmas time are beautiful. Snow and horse drawn buggy rides, carolers, and the holiday spirit complete the Winter Majesty.Guest review bySandra - 10.0
Mystic is definitely worth a weekend visit.
Mystic is definitely worth a weekend visit. The downtown waterfront area is adorable if touristy. Lots of good restaurants and shops. The seaport museum is much more than a museum- it’s an experience. You would probably need more than a day to see everything. There is also an aquarium, a little village of shops to explore and chartered boat tours. We have been here twice and still haven’t seen everything. S and P Oyster House and the Engine Room were both great for dinner. Chapter One was a great spot to go for an after dinner drink.Guest review byGretchenUnited States - 2.0

this hotel is way below other hotels in this chain that we have stayed in. Empty shower soap dispenser, bathroom door designed not to close all the way, unpadded swivel chair that schreeches when moved, poor breakfast due terrible sausage and tasteless scrambled eggs (powdered?) frozen stiff bagels and only one waffle iron; loud and crude female day manager; unexplained fire alarm at 4 am!Guest review byJ DavidUnited States - 10.0
I’ve been traveling to North Stonington, CT for nearly 20...
I’ve been traveling to North Stonington, CT for nearly 20 years, and no matter the season, spring, late summer, or fall, the scenery never disappoints. Our trips to Connecticut usually center around our annual bus excursion to Clinton Premium Outlets, Foxwoods, Nordic Lodge in Rhode Island, and Mohegan Sun. Years ago, we always stayed at the charming Two Trees Inn on the Foxwoods property, but since it didn’t reopen after the pandemic, we’ve explored other nearby hotels. Many are just as lovely, with the added convenience of shuttle service to Foxwoods, which makes getting around stress-free. Most hotels also include breakfast, but if you’d rather venture out, the area is full of local restaurants with amazing breakfast and brunch menus. With Rhode Island just a stone’s throw away, North Stonington is the perfect base for a getaway. A place I never tire of visiting, no matter the time of year.Guest review byDeanna DunnUnited States - 10.0

Danbury is very diverse and has so many things to do and see no matter what time of year you're visiting. The hotel was very good and we had no complaints.
The hotel was very good and we had no complaints. The Booking.com service I used to reserve two rooms was absolutely the worst customer experience ever. Fortunately the hotel reservation agent was able to sort out the issues. Although we paid in good faith months ago, this booking service only released the funds for one room. Consequently, we were waiting for an hour at the front desk to check in and missed part of the event we came to Hartford to see. With much help and kindness from the hotel reception agent and the hotel manager, we were able to secure both rooms. We cannot thank them enough for going out of their way to help us. The Booking.com agent was the worst and failed to help both the hotel and us resolve the booking error made by their service.Guest review byBettyUnited States
