From the moment I pulled in, I loved the location and setting. So did my service dog Bodri, my 9 yr old Hungarian puli. The place is amazing with so much to do. Never short on any activity. Oscar, Jeff and Cory were all amazing, helpful, and Jeff makes the best pizza I’ve ever tasted here at the lake. I can’t wait to come back with my sister and stay in cabin number 10 again. It’s got the perfect view of the swimming pool and the entire cove!

I've been traveling to Branson since the eighties.

I've been traveling to Branson since the eighties. I always liked the music theaters . I'm a bit disappointed because the choice isn't what it used to be. Music founded the entertainment , now it is fading ! We loved the Bells my Brothers at the MansionTheater. We enjoyed Mel's Diner. The food was great and had entertainment as we ate!

Kansas City, MO is a very nice city and surrounding area.

Kansas City, MO is a very nice city and surrounding area. Wonderful restaurants and hotels to choose from. Great museums to locate and enjoy. KC Royals and KC Chiefs have two super nice stadiums and loads of parking. Driving in and around KC requires a bit of pre-planning but using your phone's GPS capabilities relieves the stress. We ate at Maggiano's Little Italy in Overland Park, KS and at Jack Stack BBQ located within the Country Club Plaza area in KC, MO. Both restaurants are SUPERB.

The Blues Museum was lovely, easy-to-follow and engagingly laid out. The central part of the city with parks and statues was beautiful. Public transport is making a comeback, and there are many walkable areas.

We visited Springfield to attend the Halloween Monster Ball,...

We visited Springfield to attend the Halloween Monster Ball, the biggest Halloween party in the midwest! Springfield offers a lot to do over a weekend, and we always discover something new. We shopped at Batttlefied Mall for the first time in a long time and were surprised to find it remodeled, updated and packed with shoppers! Most people had quite a few shopping bags so you could see that money was being spent. We went to some pretty basic places like Starbucks and Five Guys and got great service at both places. We stayed at the University Plaza Hotel and Conference center, which was a comfortable and friendly stay. The staff was awesome, the rooms were comfy and it was locaated a half block from our venue. We walked around and looked at some very old homes that had been updated to look fresh, new and quaint while keeping their victorian-esque architectural values. The Monster Ball just keeps getting better! It's my favorite event of the season. This party is huge and so many costumes are very inventive. Costumed guest are very interactive and love posing for pics. The cost of the ticket includes free, all you can eat Papos Pizza, Hurts Donuts and various sodas. Bar drinks are traded for tokens purchased at the door, which are sold individually or in value packs.

I was on a cross country trip.

I was on a cross country trip. The adjacent Steak and Shake did not conform to expectations I established during the 1955-2019 period. My motel had no outlet accessible to the parking, so I could not use the crankcase oil heater in my car. I use it more north of Missouri than in Missouri. The cicadas with orange highlights were abundant and magnificent, a real plus.

The experience was terrible, the service was awful, the room smelled bad, they don't provide cleaning service, and they try to charge you for everything. My experience at this hotel was very bad; they need to change many things, starting with management and customer service.

Plenty of shopping and dining options.

Plenty of shopping and dining options. The mall isn't what it used to be, but there are strip malls and a lot of other stores. There are a lot of attractions in the area. Dined at Salvatore's Italian Restaurant on Rt 40. The staff was very friendly, food was good and reasonably priced. Visited Kauffman stadium. Very clean, well kept. Travelled when there wasn't a lot of traffic, wouldn't recommend travelling the area or I-70 during rush hour times. If going to the stadium, recommend that you get there early for parking.

Saint Robert was a business trip for me and everything went well. My favorite places were The Office Cigar lounge and Bar and Waffle House. It was very easy to get around in Saint Robert and there is more than meets the eye. Great restaurants, great historical sites, and shopping to name a few. I would on my next visit, avoid the winter season as it was by the skin of my teeth that I missed the snow before I arrived and after I left. I will definitely visit Saint Robert again real soon.

Didn't see much of St.

Didn't see much of St. Louis, though I visited the Cathedral. It is a wonderful place. The Arch also a good place to visit. need to go there early though so as to get in. Visited various shopping Malls as well. Good variety offered. Ate at different places. Olive Garden was my favourite. It is quite easy to get around Maryland Heights even on the public transport.
