Wonderful staff who will go out of their way to help and will assist in organising activities/treks. Very comfortable beds and cushions and hot water. Free wifi and situated in a great position only 1 kilometre (at times less) walk to many good restaurants and the town centre.

From the moment we arrived Kim the owner was very welcoming and his smile was infectious. He went above and beyond with our check in and check out times due to our early and late arrival and departure times. He even gave us a banh mi for the train ride back to Hanoi. Location was a short 450m from the centre of town. Breakfast was delicious, rooms were clean and spacious and bed comfortable. Kim helped us with tours and his English is wonderful. It is a small hotel and if we go back to SaPa we will stay again. Thank you Kim for making our stay in SaPa so enjoyable. 😊

    We had a wonderful 4 night stay in a Premium Executive Suite with an amazing view of the nearby rice terraces and mountains. The accommodations were fantastic, with comfortable beds, and serene gorgeous surroundings. The two restaurants provided lovely local cuisine and the included breakfast had an enormous offering of both Vietnamese and Western options. The infinity pool with the happy hour was a consistent afternoon addition to our days and a welcome respite after hiking in the surrounding rice terraces, or an excursion to Sapa and Mt. Funsipan. Would love to return one day!

    The Deluxe triple room facing the city is perfect, bed was comfy, breakfast has many choices, the staffs also nice and very helpful. Best location, just across the Sunplaza Sapa Station. My big thanks for Ms. Yuna (FO Manager) and Jayce for helped us to find alternate transportation as our limousine from Sapa to Hanoi cancelled by agent in the very last minute (due no car available even we bought it one month before our trip start!!!). You knew how panic I was at that night. Once again, thank you much.

    Really enjoyed the cleanliness and comfiness of the room, that offered great bathroom facilities. The staff were all very friendly and professional. Really enjoyed the spa downstairs in the hotel, and was given a relaxing massage by the qualified staff. The breakfast, dinner and room service delivered was exceptional both in terms of quality and tastiness. The pool was also a nice addition that allowed for a relaxing time.

    Nature-friendly accommodation First of all, the scenery was so nice and I felt like I was staying at home There was no TV or refrigerator due to lack of electricity, but it was not uncomfortable at all to have an electric pad ready Even if there is a lot of fog, it is elegant.     Getting around sapa is easy with grab. There are a lot of must try eats in sapa like black chicken, sturgeon and salmon. There are also fun attractions like alpine coaster, moana sapa and glass bottom bridge.

    Lao Cai is a frontier town and as such, has a quite quirky feel to it. There is not a whole lot to do per se, apart from visiting a couple of pagodas. I do like the vibe there and there is some really good Vietnamese food available.

    Very difficult to find your way there, all homestay/hotel...

    Very difficult to find your way there, all homestay/hotel owners refuse to provide information and collaborate only with specific companies. English guides limited but a guide named Thao made our stay a nightmare. She was trying to push lunch and other side services, once she realized we didn’t want that, she stopped any guiding and intentionally destroyed half of one day and the whole second day by acting simply as a side person on the trip, not providing absolutely anything. Totally unprofessional and even verbally rude and sarcastic. Avoid at all costs!

    Awesome village, if you want busy and active then stay over the weekend. For a little more quieter time, then from late Monday to Friday morning is good. There is amazing trekking, site seeing and rides around the area and superb place to visit for a connection to rural Vietnam when you only have a few days.

    Mountainous area famous for plum.

    Mountainous area famous for plum. It's called the white valley because during the spring the whole area is covered by plum flowers. So it's best to visit in early January. Otherwise, summer is a good time for plum picking. I had an enjoyable experience picking plum myself and brought lots of them home. I was lucky to visit during the weekends when they had annual horse racing competition. Really memorable. They also have weekly Hmong flea market on Sunday, you can eat local food and see ethnic people trading. Riding motorbike and looking at the mountain was fairly enough for me. You definitely should eat at Sa Mu restaurant. The food was so good that we went there twice.

    Beautiful scenery and relaxing weather. But, it's best to make sure you visit during the non-rainy seasons to avoid excessive fog and unexpected rainfall. We visited the moana cafe, glass bridge, ban mong alpine coaster and explored the city center. All these locations are a must visit to anyone visiting Sapa. This was our second trip to Sapa. During our first visit, we visited sunworld fansipan and cat cat village, and they are also absolute must visits!

    I only stayed Saturday night for the Sunday market but wish I’d stayed Friday night too to see the buffalo market on Saturday morning. Get up early (~6am) and go to the market while it’s bustling with locals rather than waiting until the tourist buses arrive (from ~9am). Quan Binh Phuong does good chicken pho for 30,000 VND
