I booked a bunk bed that came with breakfast, free beer, and a bicycle. The buffet breakfast alone made the stay well worth the price. Just a heads-up about the free beer—it's not served from a draft tap, so keep that in mind. The beer-themed table games were a lot of fun, and the swimming pool was fantastic. Out of the four places I stayed in Hoi An, this was by far the best.

Nice hotel with great facilities. We got a nice and spacious room with balcony. The hotel provided a free bicycle to roam around Ho-An and did all the travel bookings for us (including trip to Hoi-An show, Hue trip, trip to Bana hills, taxi bookings to and from airport etc.). The spa and gym was really good. Hotel is close to the river and Hoi-An old town. Overall we loved our the stay at La Charm!.

I stayed at Babylon on Marcg, and we couldn't recommend it enough. The rooms were lovely and the staff were absolutely out of this world! Any questions I had were always responded to with absolute enthusiasm and the staff really go out of their way to help you. Riding the bikes they provide through the rice fields was an absolute highlight. They even helped us book tours through a local company which was great. I couldn't recommend Babylon enough :)

The lady who checked us in was amazing. She was there all of the time to see to our needs. She booked anything we needed and the hotel loaned us bicycles to ride to old town. It is a short walk or a shorter bike ride to the center of old town. It was lovely place to stay but it was made lovelier by the nice lady who took care of us at the front desk. Hotel was clean and efficient. It was on a busy street but we never heard the traffic. Slept like babies. We would stay here again for sure.

The spoke good English and the receptionist were very helpful. No communication issues at all. The food was soo good. Lots of choices. Even for vegetarian and vegan. The breakfast and dinner buffet was so yummy. It was almost our highlight of the day. The hotel is huge with lots of space. It’s extremely clean and very well taken care of. Nice decoration during Christmas. The pool and beach were big but it was raining so we couldn’t use it unfortunately. Great playroom for kids with lots of activities and the park right next to it. Rooms were big and clean, bed very comfortable, clean and big.

    location by the sea, quiet but near to restaurants/bars and a short taxi ride to Hoi An. The rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable - always nice to have our morning coffee on the balcony. The staff were outstanding (Linh, Tanh, Ranh) - always willing to help and provide suggestions where to go. We rented motorbikes from Hoi An Bike Rental (highly recommended - they have excellent/good condition bikes, first aid kit, rain ponchos and safety phone!) so we could visit lots of places; My Son, Monkey Island & Lady Buddha, and beautiful countryside. Also, excellent buffet breakfast. Overall, this property is more boutique/cute than others along the beach area.

    There is so much care in making sure our stay was great. We initially booked a Christmas Eve stay and to have dinner in town; much to our surprise we were invited to join for their Christmas Eve event with the dinner and free flow drinks covered. What surprised us more was how we were greeted. Sat down and given details of our room, facilities, and how to go about the town. Such an amazing experience. All the staff were attentive to our needs and constantly came up to us to ask if we needed anything. Would definitely come back again.

    Hoi An is a charming historic town on the tourist route...

    Hoi An is a charming historic town on the tourist route between Ho Chi Min City and Hanoi. It is well worth a few days visit to wander around the old streets, visit the interesting museums, browse the markets and shops and eat and drink your fill in the excellent cafes and restaurants. Get a made to measure dress or suit rustled up in no time at one of the many tailors in the town. There are plenty of other places to visit a short distance from Hoi An such as Ba Na Hills, the beach and Hue if you want to extend your stay. We stayed at La Charm hotel just outside the centre and enjoyed eating at the nearby Boi Com restaurant which offered quality dishes and cocktails at a good price.

    The snorkeling here is mediocre.

    The snorkeling here is mediocre. The visibility is not very good, and the coral and fish are not worth the effort. The town itself is chill, but the food is not so special. Da Nang and Hoi An had better restaurants.

    We rented the entire property for a group of 6 people.

    We rented the entire property for a group of 6 people. Everyone has their own room and bathroom which was great and the bedrooms are very comfortable and large with very big beds and phenomenal air conditioning. Communal areas need work tho!! We couldnt enter the kitchen due to a horrific smell from our arrival and there was no plave to relax by the pool. Outdoor furniture would be good. Overall, in particular due to air conditioning, we enjoyed our stay and host was very responsive via whatsapp but not sure Id recommend due to lack of quality communal space, mass of bedding and cleaning ongoing on upper level and fowl kitchen.

    If you want to get a feel for a sleepy town which is not a tourism magnet then this is a place to experience a real local town in Vietnam. Add to that the Quang Nam museum in the center of town is very interesting to visit. Hopefully there will be more information for foreign visitors around! The beach is not that far and it is worth to rent a bike or car and spend sometime around some of the villages around the coast there. They have a lot of characters. The food in Tam Ky, especially seafood is awesome too!

Loved everything, the markets, the villages, the night time atmosphere, releasing a lantern on the river at night, the bright colours and lights everywhere is very impressive. Best coffee was at Uncle Hunn Bistro, the salted coffee is very artistic with a picture of tree! Loved the Marble Mountains and Monkey Mountain, a definate must see! There are plenty of tailors next door to each other to choose from to get tailor made clothing in just 24 hours!

    Booked 5 nights to relax but reduced to 3 as very little to do and lacking facilities for lounging on beach. Beaches were a hot walk away, with steep climb. Some nice seafront cafes - local, not Western.

    An Bang beach is the perfect base for a visit to Hoi An. It’s lovely to have the beach for the day with the town being only a 10 minute taxi away for the night time lanterns. It's a beautiful beach - golden sand, warm sea, gently shelving so v safe for kids. Lots of lovely beach bars and restaurants but not a glitzy party place. More low key and family friendly.

    Beautiful old town.

    Beautiful old town. Would recommend a visit to Poison which does tasty iced coffee and good food. Hoi An roastery coffee is also a good stop for coffee. Faifo coffee is also lovely, go upstairs to get great rooftops views over the old town. Have a wander and bargain at the night market always good fun. There are so many bars and restaurants to choose from but the best thing is coffee.

    This is an island. There are no hotels and cars on it. Only guesthouses and bikes. Great nature and diving. You can drive up to the lighthouse, but circular movements around the island are now impossible, in several places there are collapses of stones. Look for guesthouses with fresh good reviews, they may not have a sea view, but there will be clean comfortable rooms. Good diving spots! 1-2 days is enough for the trip
