United KingdomAbsolutely stunning hotel. Rooms were fantastic, beds massive and the balcony was an added bonus. Layout and decor of the hotel was equally grand - by far the best I saw in Samoa. Facilities exceptional. Location great. My personal highlight was seeing the Fia Fia dancing.

Friendly staff members who stops to chat with you.
Security guard on site, and he is really friendly. He would ask if we needed help with any luggage daily, because we will leave in the morning and. One back late at night, just to shower and sleep.
Location is right across from the market and in between 2 main big supermarkets. So you can pop out to get essentials or food.

Host is super nice and easy going. Greeted us at the property with bottles of water. Also checked in to see if we needed anything.
Location is really handy (last property on the left before you turn right to drive into Taumeasina Resort). Safe and private.
Lovely little deck area out the front, enjoyed the breeze.
Suitable for a couple.
2 rooms however second room has been set up as a spare space (no bed). We used it to store our luggage.
Bed is nice and comfy.
No hot water but that was no biggie for us.
Paid cash for my stay on departure.

We loved the frech tast, the fish with coconut and pineapple sauce. We loved the warm water and the snorkeling right at our front door. Apia is a beautiful place to visit. You should be prepared with an itinerary if travelling solo or as a couple, or family with small kids. Although alot of those of Samoan heritage would spend a bit of time with family. We spent a little time with family, and managed to visit my grandma's headstone and do up her floral arrangement and solar lights. The temperature I know alot of people would love. The staff were amazing from day one till the end of our stay. Everything went went well. We enjoyed our event on the second night and the food was much better compare to our first dinner. Lovely place, very interesting culture, hired a car, went to swim at Turtle Bay, drove into the town to look around. Bought food at some of the local food places, but the best food and price was the resort itelf. To get around one does need to hire a car, they are expensive however. But to get the feel of Samoa, necessary. There are cheaper places to stay, it depends on what you want. A beautiful new airport complements the island, previously was a tin shed but what was lovely about that was the welcoming group singing and paying guitars. I was only here for one night, for proximity to my early flight the next day. I would probably stay a couple of nights if returning to enjoy the facilites and surrounds.
