The staff were very helpful at the lodge, from lending a plug adapter to early wake-up calls with coffee.
There is an honesty bar for drinks and the option for having dinner at the lodge.
There was power backup for when the National grid failed.

This family-run ‘executive suites’ exceeded our expectations. Nothing seemed a bother for them. The cleanliness and modern look of the house is as shown in the photos. We booked the deluxe family room at last minute after missing our flight and, although we arrived at around 8pm, (Linda) was there to welcome and accommodate us. Someone was there to help transport our bags to our room upstairs and the rooms were very clean, despite the last minute booking. Linda ensured we were settled in well that evening, and even prepared a small complimentary dinner. We were given equipment to make unlimited tea and coffee in our rooms, as well throughout our stay. We also had an absolutely gorgeous views from our deluxe family room. There are several spaces to relax in the house so, despite other guests being there, you do not feel squashed. The ambience and decoration of the house is exceptional. Great views from the balcony on first floor, which also boosts a pyjama lounge. During our stay, we were provided with enough warm blankets and bed linen of good quality cotton. They also have two large fully fitted kitchen and diner for those who like to prepare own meals. I highly recommend staying at this place, we felt at home. We hope to be back.

The customer service at Masawara Urban Retreat was exceptional. They anticipated my every need, from providing free airport transfers to offering a variety of complimentary beverages (house wine, coffee, tea) and snacks (cookies - cupcakes - nuts). The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. The spacious, clean room even included a walk-in closet.
The experience was incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. To top it off, the spa treatments were top-notch
