I recently had the pleasure of staying at Riad Ali with a group of seven motorbike enthusiasts, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Mr Ali’s warm welcome and attentive care made us feel right at home. Mr Ali and his Staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, providing us with all the information we needed for a smooth check-in and even offering secure parking for our bikes. Their genuine hospitality and attention to detail truly stood out. Their knowledge and willingness to assist made our trip even more enjoyable and stress-free. Breakfast each morning was a highlight of our stay, offering a wide variety of delicious options that catered to all tastes.

The hotel is set back off the road and far enough from Merzouga to make it a peaceful oasis. The staff here are absolutely wonderful, Muhammed and his team do everything to make you feel at home. The young fellow who served us breakfast and dinner was so lovely and has a great sense of humour. Our room was spacious and clean but retained Moroccan authenticity. The bed was large and comfortable and the aircon perfect. The swimming pool, whilst not massive, is kept remarkably clean, as is the seating area. Breakfast was very much to our taste, well prepared, and served with a smile. Dinner tends to be a set meal, but if you have dietary issues or want something special, then speak to Muhammed, and he will do everything he can to help. If you want to partake in a desert trip or a sunset camel ride, I can highly recommend Muhammed to organise this for you at a good rate.accommodations. For motorcyclists, the hotel is very secure. If I were to return to Morocco, then this would definitely be one of my 'go-to' accommodations. Please note that this hotel does not serve alcohol. There is a small restaurant 5 minutes walk away that serves a great Berber Pizza.

If you would like to discover the area, walking tours is possible in the surroundings and GITE Take your time can arrange a car rental service. Hospitality level was super! the location of the gite was great as you could walk directly to the dunes in a few minutes and there were lots of camels in the area that you could visit. You would most likely want to have a car because the gite is about 2.5-3 kms from town. We ha a car, which made it easy to go to the hosts house in the morning (where the breakfast was served). The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own food. Did I mention how great the hospitality was?

The property is located in the middle of a town close to Merzouga. The house itself is incredibly beautiful. The swimming pool is what made it perfect. After a hot day of traveling it is the best way to cool down. The host was super kind and helped us with laundry, the airco and food/drinks. We recommend this place to everyone staying a night here to enjoy the local life near the Sahara!
