Perfect hotel, with fantastic atmosphere! Parking in 2 steps from hotel, very qualitative food (but choice is small). My stay was in out of seasos, maybe this is a reason, why choice is not so big.

Room was very big and nice, beds were very comfy, it was a rustic like feeling. Location and host is good. Point to note - bus 260 to Gruyere Ville operates till 7+pm from the Gruyeres main station - check google maps. Use the bus otherwise its a long uphill walk. Quiet town with food places nearby. No supermarket though, have to take the bus and go to another village for the supermarket like Migros or Denner. Ate at the restaurant and the food was good too. The kitchen was fully equipped and easy to use.
