The room was very spacious and had a great view of the waterfall. The breakfast was great. The location of the hotel enables nice day trips, both to Dyrhólaey útsýnisstaður, Reynisfjara and Þórsmörk.

The cozy self check in Hotel Skoga is just 5 minutes walk from the spectacular Skogafoss Waterfall situated at the foot of the Eyjafjallajökull glacier.

.We really enjoyed our stay here. The beds are wonderful and the shower is perfect. The house had everything we needed. It is spacious and clean. The surroundings are also beautiful. Very cosy cottage with a wonderful view towards the mountains. We were a family of 4 with little space and loved it. Small modern and sufficient kitchen were we ate breakfast and cooked easy dinner (one cooking plate).

As they say in french, this hotel is our 'coup de cœur', it has amazing views from the restaurant, 15min drive from Vik and 10min drive from Dyrholaey Promontory. The room was cosy, design, very clean, well decorated and had a lovely big shower. The breakfast is included in the price and it serves hot and cold, very generous and a good choice of everything (especially lots of fruit!). The receptionist gave us very good restaurant tips for the evening although we could also eat at the restaurant but chose to visit Vik instead.

The self checking was really easy and we had all the necessary information. The house was super clean and quiet, and very well equipped. I would stay over for days just to rest.
