The pension is very clean and well-kept and the hosts were so nice, friendly and helpful. The breakfast is also really good. All of this made our stay an unforgettable experience and we can highly recommend Pension Ken & Mary.

JapanThe host was very nice, and spoke in simple Japanese to accommodate me. He was extremely cheerful and helpful. My friend and I felt very welcome, and spent a lovely night in the tatami room.

Great location, it’s so nice to be attached to the mall, especially if you have a long day of hiking / touring. The supermarket has good takeaway and the hotel has a microwave for heating food. We got the upgraded larger room. If you get the cheapest room it will probably be quite small if you have suitcases. Public bath very nice, although no sauna or cold pools. We walked along the river behind the station and found a Starbucks close by which is open earlier than the mall stores.
