We loved everything. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, with a very comfortable bed and a fantastic small terrace offering a wonderful view that was a joy to see in the morning. Trevor has been a fantastic host, and we loved chatting with him. He made us feel so welcome that we decided to extend our stay. I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone, and when I return to Akaroa next time, I will undoubtedly book here.

We absolutely loved our three night stay at this beautiful historic home in it's gorgeous garden setting. We were warmly welcomed by Sabine who was an exceptional hostess. Our room had a harbour view and rhe breakfasts were outstanding, with a wide array of local produce. The location was an easy walk to the bay, cafes and restaurants.
