This hotel was perfect! Absolutely fantastic local Japanese breakfast and dinner served beautifully. The location is great a short walk to the lift station. Lifts passes can be purchased on site along with rentals etc meaning you can be on the slopes immediately. The hotel has a lovely Onsen too! We will be back ! Thank you for amazing service to the wonderful family and staff.

Group of Australian friends skiing at Nozawa Onsen, our host was such a great guy, drove us to Nozawa Onsen and back every day and helped out with everything, charming place and the Japenese beds are more comfortable than I thought they would be. Already miss the place!

My room, the view on the village was beautiful ! Really comfortable, with hot water and complimentary tea ! The private bathroom was a real plus, as well as the yukata provided by the lodge. Lovely and welcoming hosts, and ideal location. I loved the light sound of water/river by the hotel, it's a very soothing and calming music to me. Would come back next year, if there's any room available !

Loved the traditional Japanese room, and the Japanese breakfasts were fantastic. I stayed in the Japanese-Style Quadruple Room with Private Bathroom, which was very luxurious as a solo traveller. The staff were very courteous and helpful.

It was very unique experience. This very charming traditional Japanese ryokan is within short distance from the train (or bus) station. Everything was clean and well organised there. We spent really very relaxing enjoyable moments there. It feels all very authentic (including delicious Japanese dining) and the stuff is also very friendly and welcoming. 100% worth it!

Beautiful spacious room in a beautiful location overlooking the river. Our room has kotatsu and futon! Our host, Akira, pick us up from station. Akira and family are very welcoming and friendly. The onsen is private which is nice, and we had fun going to the onsen. The breakfast is beautiful and filling. Love the variety of vegetables in it. Akira's mother bring us to the monkey park in the morning. Overall, we have the loveliest time and would recommend this place! <3
