Hotel Keisui is a lovely place to stay in. The check-in process was quite smooth. (if you are coming from Toyama to go through the Kurobe Alps, your luggage can be forwarded from Toyama station to hotel Keisui). The hotel lobby is pretty and has its own shop, vending machines, and a public onsen and a foot spa. The room we booked was the mixed Japanese-Western bedroom with outdoor tub. It was wonderful. There was plenty of space. There was a fridge to keep your drinks and tea and coffee were available. Yukata and slippers are provided. Towels and toiletries are supplied daily. The breakfast is superb! Do not miss it! The outdoor hot tub is amazing. You get to see the river below and the mountain range nearby. The staff are quite friendly and very helpful! My partner left his watch in the public onsen, but they managed to secure it until my partner inquired about it.

We loved our stay which included a beautiful traditional Japanese breakfast and coffee station (after breakfast). The staff were amazing offering advice on bike hire and luggage transfers with Shanano An.and general maps/directions of the area. They were sonpatient with my many questions and so very helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The public onsen at the hotel was wonderful and I often had both the outdoor and indoor bath to myself. We hired bikes for 24 hours which helped us easily get around the Azumino/Hotaka region as the Ryokan was quite far from the town centre and its main attractions (Wasabi farm, Foot hot Springs, museums, glass making studio etc). The bikes were extremely affordable ($20 AUD for ebikes). The scenery of the Japanese Alps was spectacular. We had a very nice coffee at Arome Cafe which was not far from the free foot hot spring bath. I would highly recommend this hotel if you don't mind either getting taxis (after approx 3pm) /buses during day or riding bikes. Taxis cost about $35AUD from the Hotaka station to the hotel taking about 15 mins, but they seem to be readily available.

It's a wonderful hotel with the most welcoming and helpful staff. We had a lovely stay and hope to come back some day in the future. The food is exceptional and the food alone is worth a stay at this hotel. There is a beautiful, wooden onsen with a great choice of cosmetics. The hotel itself is beautiful too and our room was very big and comfortable. Everything about our stay was relaxing. We made great memories in Azumino.

Good communication with the owner beforehand. Perfect location near the train station and the bus station to Ogisawa. Our luggage were taken care of by the owner in the morning and were waiting for us at Toyama station after doing the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. Very nice Ryokan overall with confortable futons.

The staff were really kind and allowed us to leave our luggage there when we went on our round trip up Tateyama. Onsen was comfy for 2 people and the tatami beds were comfortable too! Good value for money in Omachi and super close to the station.
