Close to Togakushi Shrine, 宿屋白金家 yadoya-shiroganeya 1日1組限定2名から8名様まで 全館貸切り 伝統的建造物の旅籠宿 Traditional culture experience is set in Nagano and has a hot spring bath and garden. The 3-star ryokan features mountain views and is 20 km from Zenkoji Temple. The ryokan also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Hands down the best hospitality we have ever experienced. Maki is the most gracious of any host we have ever had. Excellent food (lots of it). This accommodation is worth planning an entire trip around. 2 private onsens. A massage chair. It was our first time with a traditional Japanese futon and we were surprised how comfortable sleeping was. Beautiful scenery and the most hospitable hosts (Maki, her mom the chef and Kenta the house pup) Thank you for an unforgettable stay! We can’t wait to come back again someday.

Takimi Onsen Inn that only accepts one group per day features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 9.1 km of Otsumago and 9.3 km of Kotoku-ji Temple. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The ryokan has facilities for disabled guests. Our one night at Takimi House was the highlight of our two-week trip to Japan. The hosts, a lovely couple, made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Their warmth and hospitality were truly exceptional. The food was another standout aspect of our stay. Every meal was delicious, but the miso soup was particularly incredible. It was the best we’ve ever had! Additionally, the hosts picked us up and dropped us back off at the train station in Nagiso which was incredibly helpful given the remote location of Takimi House. This extra touch made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable. Overall, Takimi House provided an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Japan.
