The staff were incredibly attentive, always making sure everything went smoothly. The food was delicious and full of local flavours. Loved the soothing sound of birds in the morning. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Dambulla who’s looking for a relaxing and authentic Sri Lankan experience.

Nice size family room with working AC and comfortable bedding. We came there after trips to Sigiriya and Pidurngala and crash out until next day morning and beds were very comfortable. Jeewantha is an excellent host trying his best to provide a good service. Had a lovely chat over breakfast. Good location and very short distance to the town centre and cave temple.

This recently renovated apartment is located 5.8 km from Pidurangala Rock and 2 km from Wildlife Range Office - Sigiriya. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, free shuttle service and luggage storage for guests. We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The view of the Lion Rock is fantastic! The cabin was perfect for us:) Peter called me when we arrived and explained all ins and outs of the area and gave us some great advice. He was happy to answer any of our questions any time of the day. The cabin with its garden are very private and amazing for some wildlife spotting. Our kids loved it. There is also a wood-fired pizza oven in the garden. Sumith put the fire on for us and Raja swiftly organised and delivered yeast and flour from the local bakery for our pizza baking experience:) We all had a lot of fun kneading the dough and baking pizza in a real outdoor pizza oven! It was delicious:). We used bicycles provided free of charge, washing machine and there is a drinking water dispenser in the cabin, so no need to buy bottled water:) We loved seeing wild chickens coming to the garden and peacocks were always a good entertainment for the kids;) Sumith brought us, freshly picked from the garden, jackfruit to try;)

The Location is very Nice. Major attractions such as Pidurangala, Sigiriya, and the Village Tours are within 15-20 minutes walking distance. There are several amenities, including grocery stores, restaurants, bakeries, and ATMs, within a 5-minute walk. Our host was extremely kind and provided us with a delicious Sri Lankan-style home-cooked breakfast and dinner on request. The room was nice had everything we needed.
