Authentic building, as long as I understand with several centuries of history, but looks and feels absolutely great, comfy and newish. Accomodation has a self check-in, check-out system, garden and big room with a fireplace to relax during rainy days. Owner and her assistant are both very friendly and willing to help, incredibly nice people. The chalet has guest parking and is located within 5 minutes from Brienz train station and lake promenade.

The room had a lovely view of lake Brienz and had all we needed. It was roomy, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom and shower spacious. Staff were very friendly and the service excellent. They even accommodated our request to leave our suitcases with them for a few hours after check out so we could finish our sightseeing without taking them on the train with us. Great place to stay!

Breakfast was excellent - lots of options, beautiful view from the dining room. Room had a cute little balcony, and the view from there of the lake and mountains was just breathtaking.

The cosy Hotel Weisses Kreuz offers you a great central location in Brienz, in the immediate vicinity of the train station and the ship pier. Enjoy charming rooms and fine Swiss cuisine.

Fantastic spot with parking out the back. Staff where friendly and offered helpful advise. Unfortunately didn't get a lake view room but room was plenty big enough.

I have slept in several hotels in Brienz, and this place is the best value for money (and on the other hand, hotel Weisses Kreuz is not recommended…). The staff was super nice, the view of the lake from the room is just fantastic, the room was simple and clean, and a good breakfast.
