I stayed 5 days at the Fairmont Empress and was deeply impressed. The hotel itself is stunning, with a timeless elegance, and its location in the heart of Victoria is unbeatable. Beautifully presented period house in which to stay. Also beautiful at night when lit up. A small number of rooms and lovely landscaped gardens. The themed breakfast options were very tasty as was the Afternoon Tea. The range of teas available was awesome. Would definitely stay here again, and have recommended the property to others. The location was fantastic being so central, that we could walk around town and also close to busses to venture further.

Good food in the restaurant, loved Eggs Benny and fruit. Also had dinner at the hotel and the prawns were amazing. Bar staff and waitress were professional and recommended items on the menu.
