We stayed in the guard tower room, which is a bit different from most of the rooms in the hotel. It's right above the castle gate, with windows on 3 sides, but since the walls are 70cm thick and made of stone, it's very well insulated from noise. The conveniences/electrical system were slightly constrained by the fact that we were surrounded by thick stone, but they nonethless did a great job of making a beautiful, comfortable, and engagingly quirky room. Breakfast was also exceptional, with some of the best bread and pastry I've had in Switzerland.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. We loved having drinks and meals overlooking the lake and walking the trails around the lake. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Food was wonderful and vegan options were excellent. Easy access to busses, but walking is also easy.

Family owned hotel with very helpful and kind staff, including the owners. Great spa and wellness area, amazing view from the pools. Spacious room and bathroom. Excellent breakfast and dinner - even at peak hours they tried to solve the problems. Location is excellent, in a quiet village overlooking the lake with awesome viewing spots. Discounts to the bridge and public transportation and more.

This hotel was an accidental find when I was looking for a place near interlaken. i decided to go for spiez as it is very convenient for my next train to paris. believe me, this place is a gem and spiez is amazing! la belle vue staff are awesome and friendly, and we were welcomed with a complimentary coffee by the cafe, then we were ushered to our room. the complimentary upgrade was a nice gesture which provides a direct access to the shared terrace and the view is spectacular. the room is clean and minimalist. i like that the shared bar is just out our door where we can easily get morning coffee. location is perfect which is a 10min walk to the station and walkable to a nearby Coop. I would definitely come back and stay here again! ..maybe a bit longer next time and different season.

Wow what an amazing hotel! We arrived for one night on the way to Zermatt and wish we could stay for longer! This is a hidden gem in amazing location and a wonderful view! The breakfast is magnificent and so many options (even for vegans) the out door pool is heated with a lovely outdoor sauna just the best activity with the lovely view
