The hotel is located in a paradise, views are breath taking, gardens are insanely beautiful and the overall set up with different areas (Bars, restaurants, swimming pool, etc.) is extremely well made. Would definitely go back there and if you only book one night you might regret it as even 4 were not enough... Note, if you meet Roberto (Parrot) in the stairs, don't stand in front of him, he has a unique way of showing you that you should move and my wife's toes remember it.

Absolutely perfect stay! The scenery is breathtaking, the beach is pristine, and the amenities are top. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, always going above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The food at the restaurant is delicious. Everything — from the atmosphere to the service — was truly perfect. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience spending the night in an open hut right in front of the ocean, and waking up to the sound of the waves! The staff is very kind and the restaurant is delicious, we had all our meals there and it was not a problem because we had so many options to try. Breakfast is delicious and you also have many options to choose from. I highly recommend this place!

The very perfect place if you visit Tayrona and want to relax a couple of days. We were staying in the family room in the main building. Beds were very comfortable and with mosquito nets. In the morning you wake up by the sound of birds and monkeys! Restaurant on the terrace, a nice clean pool with some hammocks. The property is wide spread out, with beautiful vegetation and is well taken care of. The public beach (with some restaurants) is a 10 min walk away. From there you can walk along the beach, which is very beautiful, secluded, clean but wild for hours. Public bus stop ‚Los Cocos‘ is right in front of the entrance (5 minute ride to El Zaino). 24h reception, they organize very reliable transport or airport pickup for you. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a great stay, thank you all! And we loved the house parrot Lila who was always on one of the trees.

Ana and Guillermo made me feel very welcome and helped me whenever they could. I was lucky there cause I was traveling alone and they helped me with everything and cared. Very recommended. Bus stops in front of the door, so super practical to find and get anywhere.

Yay sustainable was idyllic. We found ourselves immediately decompressing from the hustle and bustle of traveling. The surroundings were tranquil and refreshing, waking up to the sound of the jungle was magical. The restaurant food was healthy, delicious and reasonably priced. We loved our morning yoga classes, walks and swimming in the river and retreat pool. Staff were really helpful with advise and I enjoyed a wonderful massage from Stephanie, a real treat. When staying at YAY sustainable you can travel to go to beaches and other locations, but I would suggest just staying put and immersing yourself in the retreat experience for a few days.
