I am a regular because the location in the north of town is perfect for me. The pool is great, the gym is state of the art and it is in the middle of a park. This time I had excellent white asparagus in the restaurant. It was perfect.

I booked this hotel because it has a gym. I believe this gym is just as big as the one in my hometown. It has all the equipment to do a full work out. I didn't had the breakfast included. However, the lady at the reception was kind enough to offer me ice for my cooling box (at no charge). The beds were okay. The parking is close to the entrance of the hotel. If you are for example into body building and you don't want to intermit your training, this hotel is a real bargain in my opinion.

The Great North is a true gem! The revamped interior is stunning, from rooms to restaurant, with beautiful decor in every corner, impressive photography on the walls, and gorgeous lighting fixtures - truly reminiscent of the most stylish hotels in metropolitan cities. The gardens are gorgeous, the staff warm and welcoming, and even our 6-year-old felt at home everywhere. Dinner was delicious with the right variety of tasty, locally-sourced dishes, and the breakfast buffet was a feast — fresh, diverse, including a juice maker and cooked-to-order eggs. Our beds were super comfortable, even the fold-out one for our daughter. The indoor walkway to the thermal baths was a welcome convenience, and we had a great time playing in the water and relaxing at the exceptional sauna & spa. I loved the interior design of the hotel and the staff was very friendly and helpful. :) Not to mention that when I walked in the hotel of the day of the check-in there was a DJ playing in the lounge area!
