A lot of time, effort and thought has gone into creating this beautiful hotel with, it feels like, no expense spared. We got a really good deal for our one night through booking.com making it exceptionally good value for money. The jacuzzi and pool are especially lush as is the rooftop bar. The staff are all a delight, as you'd expect. I loved the luxury of walking around in bare feet on the thick carpets and beautiful floors. The covered parking area keeps your car cool in hot weather and makes loading/unloading much more pleasant. The rooms are fabulous. We had a 'basic' garden room with our own table in our garden and it was good to see a lot of eco friendly techniques used to maintain the gardens. The bed was sumptuous.

A beautiful stay, with every detail obviously carefully considered, this place will have you wishing you could stay for longer! Olivier and Ingrid were glorious, extremely welcoming and with a wealth of knowledge. Breakfast and the spa were perfect and on top of that the village is just a short walk away and definitely worth a visit.

A really lovely place, quiet, surrounded by greenery. Fabulous little gite, very clean and nicely decorated. The spa tub was a welcome moment of relaxation, as was the outdoor seating area overlooking the garden. We only stayed one night as we were en route elsewhere but would definitely like to go back for longer

The hosts were exceptionally helpful. I visited with 2 girlfriends and we had a wonderful time. The location was great for the centre of Cognac and visiting the famous cognac houses, also close by was Citadelle gin distillery, well worth a visit. The courtyard is a very lovely place to stay, excellently fitted out, especially the kitchen. Also Netflix, Disney and many other movie channels as well as a host of DVD's were available to us at no extra cost. Sinead and her daughter were prompt at answering any questions we had and provided all the information we needed. I would recommend this house to anyone visiting the area, suitable for families, friends or couples alike. Nice to have the extra toilet downstairs and the beautiful courtyard was not only a bonus but very pretty, an excellent place to enjoy a G&T in the afternoon. Can't praise Sinead enough, good luck and here's wishing you a busy season.

We have just had the best week at this absolutely fantastic gite. Fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, like a home from home where we could completely relax and unwind in comfort and style. There is an amazing pool, in the most idyllic surroundings (within the ruins of the old Cognac distillery... what could be better when visiting Cognac!). There are 3 beautiful, peaceful gardens that are fully enclosed, allowing children to run free, pick the fruit, and play with a fabulous selection of garden games. The covered BBQ area and traditional pizza oven were super. On arrival we were greeted with a lovely welcome basket, and a wonderful selection of fresh pastries were delivered to our door each morning, such a treat! This magical place offers the perfect mix of traditional French charm and modern luxury. Last but by no means least, the owners Barb and Kevin were the best, so incredibly kind and accommodating. We can't wait to come back!
