We booked a private dinner at their villa, and it turned out to be one of the best nights we’ve ever had. Carlo anticipated every need and made sure the evening was seamless. When my girlfriend realized she had forgotten her cardigan in the room, he immediately brought her a scarf so she could stay warm and comfortable. Probably one of the most iconic stays I’ve ver experienced. I’m fairly sure they read your mind and know what you want/need before you do. Exceptional would be an understatement.

Fantastic historic castello! Our room was very roomy and comfortable. The staff exceptional and the owner very friendly, helpful and a delight! Good country location and easy drive into Sienna and a good quiet base for visiting surrounding villages in tuscany. The restaurant cuisine was also an added bonus and very nice indeed!

Managed directly by the owner, Albergo Palazzo Squarcialupi is a 15th-century building in Castellina in Chianti. It offers a garden with outdoor swimming pool, and a spa.
