Just entering the hotel.... The view is magnificent which is a precursor to the hotel. The hotel room was without a doubt a great refresher as a foreigner to the size of rooms. There was enough room to feel absolutely spoiled in Japan.

I't literally one minute walk from Kyoto Station, and somehow is in a quiet street. The lobby is a beautiful art installation. The room (and the bathroom!) was big and modern, everything was controlled with a built-in iPad Mini. But hands down the best feature of the hotel is the polite and friendly staff, going beyond even what you are accustomed to in Japan.

This was an exceptionally good hotel, in every reward. Particularly the help we got from the reception desk and every aspect of internal processes was top notch. Also the fact that the checkout was at 12pm. Pretty much everything was well thought out and we appreciated that.
