What a lovely surprise! From the moment we walked in - a very warm reception and great surrounding. Rooms spacious, comfortable and very clean. Dinner was another surprise - delicately prepared soup, biryanis and curries. Worth the wait as everything is prepared from scratch. Excellent location as Habarana gave us the opportunity to explore Central Province to the full. Combine all this with exquisite staff and the formula is complete. Well done guys, you deserve these 5 stars!

Jeewa, Masha, and Oleena made our stay wonderful. Their homestay is lovely, jungle vibes. The room is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious, and Masha's dinner is very tasty. Jeewaa was always giving us advice and helping us to decide what to do around. We went on a safari with a guide that he recommended, and apart from being cheaper than other places, the guide was also very knowledgeable and professional. We wanted to do some Ayurvedic spa treatments, and we found other places quite expensive, but Jeewaa recommended us a local Ayurvedic centre, and the place was half the price then other places and it was SO GOOD! Our kids had the best time, Oleena (the couples' daughter) was always so friendly and playing with our kids. Our kids ended up joining the neighbourhood kids' gang. We had the most wonderful stay if one day we come back to Sri Lanka, we would definitely go back to Oleena's homestay. Jeewaa, Masha and Oleena, thank you so much.

Lasanta and his wife were amazing hosts. Lasanta took us everywhere we needed to go in his tuk tuk, showing us spots we haven’t thought of with his local knowledge all for a good price. He even took us to see the elephants in his tuk tuk to top off our experience with them. Lasantas’ wife made amazing dinners. The best food we had whilst being there and the room is very clean and has a nice style they are very attentive hosts always making sure you are happy. We really recommend this place to anyone.

This was one of the less places in years of travelling we won't forget in our whole life. The owner Vimal and his wife Maneke are such lovely and great people, we're really happy to get the chance in our lifes to get to know this kind people. Vimal helped us like your own father with all we needed. Beautiful shady garden to relax on your own terrace and big breakfast made with a lot of love. If we come back to Sri Lanka, the fist thing is to book at room here again!! Absolutly recommandation!

Our stay at Woodland Sanctuary was simply magical. The two-story wooden room was beautifully designed, offering both comfort and a rustic charm that made us feel connected to nature. The bathroom, finished with natural stones felt like a luxurious spa. Dudley and his son Maleesha were incredible hosts, always going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The breakfast was delightful, featuring fresh Sri Lankan dishes and fruits. The pool was large and refreshing, surrounded by a lush garden with breathtaking views. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

We stayed in the Hotel Sundown Lake for two nights and we absolutely loved it. The service is very personalized and the hosts are very lovely people. Also the location is really nice. The rooms are super clean and the bathroom is outstanding. We had a variety of home cooked meals every night - the best food we had on our Sri Lanka Trip. We can recommend this place to 100% and like to say thank you for the well hosts and this amazing Hotel.
