This place is run by a family. They were really kind and helpful with everything. We came late for checkout but still they let us use the room and the bathroom. Really kind people. We liked everything. Very close to the sea. Walking distance from coconut hill. One of our best stays.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ubuntu Beach villas! 💜 Lakmal and the staff looked after us so well and we felt very spoiled. The villas are absolutely stunning and very special, completely beach front! We very much enjoyed that we could use the facilities and amazing restaurant at the Latern villa also. The food is absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend staying at Ubuntu Beach Villas and will definitely be back!!! Breakfast was incredible. The best Sri Lankan breakfasts we had. Our hosts were super attentive making sure we were topped up on tea and breakfast foods. Stayed there for four days and had a different breakfast each morning to our delight. Our host also noted we weren't a fan of Papaya and stopped giving those on fruit platters and provided alternatives without asking. Clean rooms, hot water, a short walk outside of town so nice and quiet. Really great value for money. The sweetest hosts.

Very nice place. Close to the beach but away from the noise. Spacious, comfortable and very clean rooms. Aircon works well. The owner, Roman, is super helpful and friendly! Highly recommended accommodation.

The couple that owns the accommodation is really sweet and helpfull. When my wife had a medical emergency they drove us to the hospital. The rooms are cleaned every day. Location was good. Close to some restaurants and less then 10 minutes to the beach.

Lantern is located along the white sandy beachfront and turquoise waters of Mirissa South. It features an outdoor pool, free WiFi access and complimentary parking.

It was a fantastic end of our holiday. The hotel is very good, clean and with a beautifull view on the sea. The staff is really nice and helpful! Kitchen was of a high level as well. All in all, we would highly recommend this hotel to others.
