The hosts were as kind as possible and very competent. Same for the safari driver who always tried to avoid over crowded area thinking about the animals and us. I recommend to have dinner there because the food was amazing. If you pass by Udawalawe, you wanna have a stop at Mango Tree House.

everything was just perfect! if i could i would give rate 20 :-) place is like from a jungle fairytale. green and quiet, perfectly maintained. room is spacious and outer toliet with a pool is unbelievably. everthing designed with great taste and in harmony with nature ♡ lunch and breakfast were very delicious. dasun is great guy, he helped us with everything ;-) he also can organise safari for you. big regards to whole family, i hope we'll come back one day!

We really liked the hospitality in this house. The hosts were extremely nice and attentive. The organization of the safari was great, we really enjoyed! We had a cool outdoor bathroom! The dinner food was sooo good.

Cottage located in the peacful area surronded by nature, we were hosted by a very friendly family. Pasindu and his wife made sure that we are comfortable and are not lacking anything. We also enjoyed tasty home made food for dinners and breakfast in large amounts, there was always more than we could eat ;) The cottage itself was also comfortable, not lacking anything, there was even a hair dryer. It was also possible to get a breakfast as a take away for early Safari, which was important to us. The family was also helpful with advice about area. Out of all our stays in Sri Lanka so far this was definitely most special.

Fantastic option if you want to go on a safari in Udawalawe. The rooms are beautiful .hotel pool is great for relaxing. We booked the safari with them and the experience could not have been better.seeing all kinds of animals. Highly recommended!

We felt at home right away! The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing, and the staff is incredibly helpful. The hotel organized our safari, and we had the absolute best guide—make sure to ask for Madhawa! He will make your safari experience truly special.

Wow… we loved the stay in city elephant family resort. We stayed one night with our 2 kids and we felt like we spent the night in our own house. The breakfast was delicious. The room was very spacious, clean, cosy and Beautifully arranged for us to have a good night sleep. Highly recommend this beautiful family resort to others who would like to spend nights during your holidays with your family. The staff was really friendly and treated us so well. We will definitely be back next year for our next holiday in Sri Lanka.

Very nice please and extremely friendly hosts. We did a 4 hours safari with Hashan as well as had dinner and breakfast. The food was delicious and plentiful! The room has aircon, warm water and the house itself is located in a quiet street. We would stay again!

    We had a nice time there, we were even lucky to meet Kalu and his lovely wife who helped us enormously by taking our 1,5 year old babyboy for half an hour and walking with him around. The place is not ideal for little children but otherwise it was very relaxing. Both me and my husband had a massage in the spa, but we were not impressed, it was a very average massage. The breakfast also average. But lunch was pretty good.
