Close proximity to the Hill of Tara and other sites as well as towns and villages in the area. Excellent accommodation, very clean. Attentive and accommodating stuff on site. We were moved by a thoughtful details like a welcoming gift basket with fresh eggs, milk, butter and other goodies. The owners also equipped the property with all the necessities required for a comfortable stay, like an umbrella, picnic basket, and other lovely things. We felt welcomed and would certainly love to come back and stay at decoy cottages again. The local kitty Rona stole our hearts. Totally welcoming, beautiful ginger lap kitty!

The River Spa offers a range of massages, body wraps and exotic treatments. The health club boasts a sauna, hot tub and a modern gym, there are also regular fitness classes. Christy O’Conor Jnr. designed the hotels golf course. The breakfast was lovely and such a great place to stay. Staff were so kind.

The Spa facilities include a Hydrotherapy Pool, Infrared Sauna, Himalayan Salt Room, Steam Room, Herb Sauna, Cold Bucket Shower, a Shower Experience and an outdoor Jacuzzi. Please note that there is an additional cost to use the Thermal Suite facilities and to avoid disappointment, we advise that use of the Thermal Suite and treatments are booked well in advance of your stay. The Luxurious Architectural design of the hotel and its facilities especially the SPA makes it for me one of the premier hotel and spa destinations in Ireland. The hydrotherapy pools are equal to any thermal spa ( indoor or outdoor) in Switzerland which I used to live in. The buffet breakfast was huge in terms of selection and beautifully presented.
