I was very happy with choosing the Monastero di Cortona to celebrate my 10th wedding anniversary. The service was excellent throughout. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, Bulgari amenities, and turndown service. They left us anniversary gifts, demonstrating their utmost care for the guest. It was an incredible experience to sleep in a place rich in history, which has been completely renovated, offering great comfort and good taste. Breakfast was excellent every morning, served in a beautiful indoor space and also in the outdoor patio with a special atmosphere. The pool area is very beautiful and has a beautiful view of the city from above. The spa in the ancient baths is a truly worthwhile experience. We had the privilege of dining at the Gli Affreschi restaurant and chose the tasting menu with wine pairing, and it was incredible, worthy of a Michelin star. The restaurant's atmosphere is very special, rich in history, and combined with the delicious food and excellent service, it made for a truly special evening! I recommend this restaurant to both guests and non-guests. It's worth traveling to Cortona if you're nearby to try this experience. Taziana's excellent service is a highlight. Everything is a 10/10. I plan to return whenever I'm in the area.
