First of all it was great value for money vs other resorts - the rooms were very spacious and clean. The decor and views were super, and service was excellent. The front desk has a WhatsApp chat and Mahfouz + Khalil (and Hussein the night guard) were always super helpful whenever we needed anything. The restaurant was excellent: you don't get one of these mass buffets but rather an a la carte full-board experience with delicious dishes and juices. Bravo chef! Important: we are kitesurfers. The school is very well equipped with a great team. They have Naish gear and the beach is just a short walk but the guys always drove us in their car and helped us setup our kites + launch (even though we did not rent and had our own gear). Samy + Omar + Sarah and Oussama you guys are the best, thank you! Some people can get put off by the fact that there is a road crossing, but it's honestly so minor. Like I said, you are driven there and back. You just need to be organized about when you want to go so the school can help you. The school has storage facilities and areas for kite gear - FYI.
