The Royal Island Resort & Spa is a 30-minute wheeled aircraft ride from Malé International Airport. A mandatory transfer is provided by the resort, and charges are to be paid upon arrival. The property was very organized from the time we arrived to the time we departed. Everyone was welcoming and they gave us an exceptional lunch as soon as we arrived at the hotel prior to check-in. The facilities are very clean and our room was always freshly cleaned every morning. Special thanks to Mithila for always being accomodating and a great manager for the restaurant. To their waiters and cooks Abdulla, Damith, Nishantha, and to Nipun who took care of my delayed luggage and guide us throughout our stay. Also, the waitress of the Bar that are very friendly!

The island and beach was amazing with a nice coral reef where we saw mantas, a turtle and many nice fishes. The room was super clean, big and comfortable with a nice open bathroom. Facilities like pool and main bar were very nice. The karaoke night was funny and dive center had two nice excursions that we did...one for snorkeling with turtles and one for snorkeling at reethi Island where we saw sharks and turtles too. Possibly I could like more options for group activities for snorkeling. The beach was very clean ad well as all the island. Breakfast and dinner were excellent with many types of food every day. Staff was very efficient and nice. I loved the surprise for my birthday...it was really unexpected! We really relaxed and we will miss reethi beach resort!!!

The food in the restaurants is incredibly tasty, the service is of the highest quality. Special thanks to the chefs! our villa was not super new but clean and spacious. The local reef with its inhabitants is fascinating. Activities every day are very interesting paid and free. It was the best vacation of my life. I will definitely return there.

Peaceful and the staff are all friendly and accomodating from the very start to finish. From the arrival and departure (reception to Cowrie Restaurant and the housekeeping) They always greet us wnd complimented us all the time. Shoutout to the staff who accommodate and made our trip more memorable. especially to these sir and ma'am: santoshi julieta jennifer mj aryani jegan and to the staff who served and welcomed us everytime in the Cowrie Restaurant.

The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, full-day security and free WiFi. We booked one suite and one room, and honestly both were amazing. I've stayed in a lot of places, but this was one of the best hotels. The rooms were even better than the photos! What really made the stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. Everyone was very kind and the hospitality stood out a lot. Special thanks to the manager, Adms, who was absolutely wonderful. The breakfast (included) was delicious, and overall the entire stay was so comfortable and relaxing, no one wanted to leave. Any requests or small issues we had were quickly handled by the staff, and they responded quickly to texts as well. I highly, highly recommend this hotel, it's worth coming back again.

A very cozy guest house with kind and helpful personnel. Nice breakfasts. Tidy rooms with daily cleaning. Pick-up and drop-off to the beach, which was extremely convenient. The staff did its best to fulfill guests’ expectations and make their stay as comfortable as possible.
