Francesco was so warm and welcoming, greeting us with coffee and croissants and sharing a map to walk us through Matera’s rich history and must-see spots. Great central little hotel, literally 3 minutes' walk to Matera's main square. Very friendly and helpful staff, quiet location despite its centrality. Good wifi. Free street parking very tricky to find (but available around the hotel) but we found paid for parking round the corner (1 euro/hour from 8am to 8.30pm but free of charge between 8.30pm and 8am).

It was really great. Very near to the piazza, very clean room and a great girl in the reception. She helped us about everything. Room was sooo cozy, clean. What to say?! Hope to come again.
