Everything about this hotel exceeded expectations! I'm a solo traveller and I don't speak Ukrainian. Even during black-outs, they still provide you with everything: working elevators, breakfast...etc. The staff always handles everything for me with so much professionalism: early check-in, check-out, breakfast and so on. This hotel has become the only place where I book my stay in Kyiv. I am so grateful to have found them!

My highest recommendation for this well-situated little gem. Formerly the Hermitage Hotel, it is now one floor of comfortable and nicely appointed rooms (the suite, particularly, feels like time travel back to 1890). Great bed, fridge, excellent shower etc. made for a wonderful two week stay. Easy cab rides to everywhere you want to go. Best of all is management and staff, especially Olga, Maria and the cleaning staff—professional, delightful and welcoming. Cool place and great value!

This is a small family-run hotel, and the family running it lives there themselves during the war. The hotel is located on the ground floor, partly below the street level. That makes it safer during missile attacks. They are the nicest people I've ever met, and you'll feel as you're part of their family. They also run a coffee kiosk where you pay if you're able, otherwise all drinks are free. So expect just that: A family run hotel with all the quirks that comes with that. You will be lovingly taken care of, but don't expect five-star facilities. Also the rates are very modest.

The lady who works there is very friendly. It's best to use a translator app if you don't speak Ukrainian. I managed with my bad Ukrainian. Within walking distance to the central train station and a big bus station. Shops, bars, restaurants nearby.

Very nice service, I recommend the breakfasts that are available at the hotel. The hotel is of a high standard, only one minus is the very noisy air conditioning. The rooms are large and spacious, which was very important to us because we were traveling with children.
