Located close to Buje in Istria, on the former tracks of the Parenzana Railway Line, the historical towns of Motovun and Grožnjan are just about a few kilometres away from the Casa Romantica La Parenzana. I was there for cycling. The accommodation is right next to the Parenzana cycle path. Comfortable, cyclist-friendly accommodation and the food is very good.

The location was great, sea was really beatiful, sports activities were free and included. Staff were really warm and friendly. Food was awesome. Room was really big.

Also great security - through three doors and seamless self checkin. Host responsive and helpful. Also walking distance to marina, colosseum. Plus a farmers market a block away where we bought fruit, veggies, cheese, truffles …
