Very welcoming and friendly owner. Well equipped accommodation with kettle, toaster, oven, hairdryer, TV, vacuum cleaner etc. I really have absolutely nothing to complain about. Beautiful agricultural landscape overlooking the horse and sheep enclosure. If you are in luck you will also be visited by the owner's friendly cat. I think the location itself is also great for trips to the southern parts of Iceland. Definitely recommended.

Quiet and isolated, down a gravel road. Perfect for the auroras which we saw on our second night. Nice big communal space, and place was clean and tidy. Host came out to greet us, from the only other habitation for miles. Had a really enjoyable stay.

Super little cottage in a very quiet location. No light pollution and distant views of snow capped mountains! Feels like you are away from it all but the N1 and nearest town is only a 5 minute drive. The property is well situated for visiting many of the slights in southern Iceland. It’s lovely to come home to after a day out hiking. Very cosy and homely. Lovely light living space and very well equipped. The sauna was a real bonus!
