I really Enjoyed the stay, even though the house itself is not very new. Inside, you will find everything you would need for a short stay, there’s a fully equipped kitchen, small bathroom, one bedroom, and the other bedroom for two additional guests is upstairs in the attic. There is also a living room with different board games available in the TV. The most memorable experience is of course, a hot tub, which is located outside the house on the patio, there is also a barbecue available for guests. A hot tub at is full of water and hot once you arrive, but  you can also add hot or cold water based on your needs. A truly amazing experience, sitting in a hot tub at night looking at a starry sky with no light pollution. We were even lucky enough to see northern lights. I can highly recommend this place.

Our stay was wonderful! Iceland’s weather may be unpredictable, but its beauty more than makes up for it. Coming back at the end of the day to this beautiful house with stunning surroundings made our trip even more special. It felt warm and welcoming, like coming home. Excellent cabin/cottage in the Reykholt valley. Very close driving distance to Borgarnes to stock up on supplies at the bakery, bonus and vinbudin. Exceptionally clean, comfy and amazing views down the valley.
