It is an inviting, spacious, hospitable place to stay with excellent facilities - kitchen especially but in truth, all rooms. Location - 15 mins taxi Palaly Int Airport; 5 mins drive Inuvil railway station; 10/15 mins drive Jaffna; 5 mins drive Chunnakam. The actual physical location is attractive in its serenity. Its located in a quiet lane on Manipay Road overlooking agricultural land owned/rented by smallholders. Noise and external interference is absolutely minimal.

Helpful property manager (Mathushan) who was always around and willing to assist. Fantastic Jaffna breakfast served when ordered the night before. Clean indoor swimming pool (though not very deep) to help relieve from the Jaffna sun. Great rooms and bathroom. Interesting local art/photos on the walls as well.

I booked a homestay through Booking.com and had the most heartwarming experience staying there with my dad. From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of the family. The host, his wife, and their only son were incredibly kind and welcoming. They even cooked us a lovely meal, which made the stay feel even more special. The place was spotlessly clean, peaceful, and full of warmth. We never felt like guests—we felt like we were at home. Their kindness truly made our trip memorable. I still find myself missing the place and the people. I’m so grateful for this stay and would absolutely return. Thank you to Booking.com for helping us find such a gem.

This property is super clean, it shines .!The proprietor is helpful and he allowed us to leave bags in our room when we we went on a trip to delft island, basically he gave us the rooms free for that extra night as he was quiet at the beginning of the season in Jaffna , he is a kind relaxed gentleman, he is not doing food at the moment but he provided a good kitchen with microwave , kettle and fully stocked with cutlery and crockery in his beautiful home apartment, the apartment had a huge terrace balcony for relaxing. The building manager who handed us the property keys was on time and very friendly. He gave us his phone number to reach him and was very responsive when there was a power outage. The AC in the bedrooms worked well. There was also gallons of drinking water available that was handy. The property was also very close to the train station, making it a convenient location. You do have to bring your own towels and toiletries.
