The hot tub was waiting for us so we could jump right in. Very easy check in and check out, I wish it could be a little bit more private in the hot tub area, but overall it is a beautiful place.

The cottage and the hot tub were very clean and the kitchen was well equiped with everything we needed. The location was convenient to all the sights in the area. The shower was nice and hot and the bed was comfortable. We definitely recommend staying here.

Guests can use the hot tub, or enjoy garden views. Loved it here. The area is outside of Fludir but close enough to drive to restaurants and grocery store. Generally we were too tired to go out after exploring and hiking all day but thought the restaurants were great in this area. Was a large and comfortable cottage. Had everything you needed for a stay and host living nearby. Of course we made excellent use of the hot tub. Had a soak twice a day.

The hospitality was outstanding, with every detail exceeding expectations. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a gift of champagne and Omnom chocolate, and we received a thoughtful thank-you note upon departure. These gestures truly highlighted the exceptional service. The location is ideal, close to must-see attractions like Gullfoss waterfall, Thingvellir National Park, and the geothermal geysers. I highly recommend this place, especially if you’re hoping to see the Northern Lights.
