The accommodation was in an annexe beside the large car park, but our room faced away from it, and was excellently presented - immaculately clean, with every reasonable need met. The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful.

Absolutely fabulous place. Lot's to see and do. The cathederal is wonderful as is the canal boat trip. If you like food then there's lots of restaurants here. We visited 4 and they were all good especially Purchases on North Street which was exceptional. There is also a lovely walk around the city on the historical city wall pathway.

We only had a very short trip and could have stayed much longer and done so much more, we thoroughly enjoyed what we did do though. The Bishops Palace garden is beautiful and well worth a visit, we also enjoyed Fishbourne Roman Palace, which is really interesting and has some beautiful gardens and mosaics. Sadly it rained a lot and we couldn't do some of the things we had planned, maybe next time. We visited Tinwood vineyard on our way home and had a delicious lunch and bought some lovely sparkling wine to take home.

Where do I start! The room was beautiful and excellent value for money. The views and location truly amazing! I have stayed here before but only seem to be able to manage night at a time as I am always travelling. Would love to spend a week here!

Comprehensive shopping and eateries - we found the people really lovely, chatty and happy to help. So much history, lots to see. You must visit Luckes - independent, fabulous food, lovely staff. The Real Eating company - really good coffee, lovely staff. Our first experience was a bit unfortunate but the manager and staff were quick to respond and rectify that - highly recommend them - they have two venues in Chichester.

Our first visit to Chichester, to meet up with relatives who live locally, we had limited time to explore the town. We wandered around, walked on the old city walls, visited an interesting museum with a temporary display of Star Wars toys and of course visited the Cathedral. Chichester has largely retained the old type of 'proper' town centre with individual local shops in addition to the larger chains which makes it more interesting to walk around.

The city centre is very compact with the main shopping areas, bars and restaurants close to the cathedral and within the city walls.
Would recommend the 2.2 mile walk around the old city walls from where you can stop off and enjoy Priory Park and The Bishops Garden.
Pleanty of cafes, pubs, bars and restaurants to choose from. Would recommend The Barn in Little London which is great for coffee and delicious pastries and the food and cocktails at Purchases were fantastic. Lemongrass Thai restaurant in St Pancras was also very good.
An informative and enjoyable guided walk can be booked from the Novium Museum.
This is a lovely property. The facilities are top notch with lovely showers, a glorious hot tub, trampoline, and garden games which were great to keep my nieces and nephews amused. It's a short drive from west wittering and chichester town centre and was a perfect getaway for my extended family. The baby high chair and cot were lovely quality. We had a lovely welcome basket on arrival and all the rooms were so nice. We would have stayed forever if we could!
The breakfasts were excellent, varied and well cooked. I had superb poached eggs. The bacon had a lovely flavour and the sausages were very good. The bed was very comfortable and despite the hotel being near a road it was surprisingly very quiet. The selection of beers and gins were good and the prices good. The location was brilliant and the parking was excellent as it would have been a nightmare trying to park in Chichester had we stayed elsewhere.
Everything was right for a medium price hotel; no frills but clean, efficient and pleasant, with a solid breakfast. The rooms are in an annex set back from the main road; traffic audible but not intrusive. There is a nice garden to sit out in at the back of the main pub. Location convenient for the Roman Villa, the creek-side walk to Dell Quay, and with a bit more effort into Chichester. Staff were helpful in advising on these.
We have stayed at Crouchers Hotel on many occasions and have always found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming. We always look forward to our breakfast, which is very enjoyable with plenty of choice. The meals were delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was very efficient. The room had everything we needed. Lovely location and we have enjoyed sitting on the patio looking out over the grounds.
The flat is beautifully converted, comfy, cosy, clean and modern with everything you need and nice touches . A fabulous location in the heart of Chichester overlooking the cathedral. Easy check-in, Nick was super helpful and responsive and gave lots of information about the area and things to do. To note; the stairs leading up to and inside the flat are steep so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
We loved staying at Purchases from the minute we walked in the door, restaurant staff met us and showed us to the room. The room was lovely and the bed comfortable. You couldn’t beat the location.
The bathroom was the largest we had of all the hotels we stayed in during our first trip back to the UK in 3 years.
This home was really lovely and we felt at home straight away. There were lots of little touches so that you didn't have to have brought everything from home. It was only a ten minute walk into the town centre which was ideal for shopping and eating out. e would definitely book again.
Lovely property and very comfortable. Excellent location in the centre of Chichester and good quality breakfast. Very good instructions to find the parking but very tight access if you have a big car. Friendly staff. Would definitely use again.
good value for money and more space than available in a family hotel room. centrally located for visiting Chichester Goodwood and nearby coastline. Book ahead for Sunday lunch at the Crate and Apple a short drive away in Chichester
Ideal location, room was nice and warm on such a cold day. Was nice to stay right an excellent pub. Pub was fantastic, great choice of beers. Will definitely stay here again if I am seeing anything at the Chichester Festival Theatre.
Everything, a beautiful room, so luxurious and very quiet. Perfect location right in the centre of Chichester and with a pretty walled garden. The owners and staff were very friendly which is a bonus when staying on your own.
4 Canon lane is an beautiful little manor, behind the Cathederal. The room was large and well appointed, and a great location from which to wander Chichester.
We visited this hotel years ago and it had obviously been refurbished. Very clean, convenient to Chichester town centre. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Comfortable hotel, great location for my needs, pleasant staff with rooms well appointed. The restaurant was nice with relaxing piano music & good food.
