Built in 1973, the iconic The Taj Mahal Tower Mumbai stands majestically across from the Gateway of India, overlooking the Arabian Sea. Again, this hotel belongs to the Tata group and the Taj Hotels group. A very professional group and well experienced in the hospitality industry. We were up-graded to the old tower ( a tower which was built in 1903 ), thanks to the Booking.com's genius loyalty program. I would say this hotel is one of the best hotels in Mumbai, a luxury hotel well managed. All the staff were well trained, the breakfast was lovely and the stay was very comfortable. Thanks to Tata Group
